THE CUSTOM PROCESS

01 — LET’S TALK

Start by reaching out with your idea, vision, or inspiration. Whether you know exactly what you want or just have a general concept, we’ll talk through the details and figure out what works best for your project.

02 — DESIGN YOUR PIECE

This is where we make it yours.

Depending on your project, you can customize details such as:

  • Mug shape & style
  • Size & dimensions
  • Handle style
  • Colors & glaze combinations
  • Finishes & textures
  • Logos or branding
  • Patterns or artwork
  • Quantity

For businesses, we can also create a cohesive collection of pieces that feels intentional and aligned with your brand.

03 — APPROVAL & CREATION

Once the details, pricing, and timeline are finalized, I’ll begin creating your pieces by hand and update you during the process.

Because every piece is handmade, small variations and imperfections are part of the process — making each one truly unique.

04 — YOUR PIECES ARE READY

Once your order is complete and has gone through the necessary firing and finishing stages, your custom ceramics will be ready for pickup or delivery/shipping, depending on the project.

 


HOW LONG DOES A CUSTOM ORDER TAKE?

Custom ceramics require time — from forming and drying to bisque firing, glazing, and final firing.

Typical turnaround: 4–8+ weeks depending on amount as well as demand 

Smaller orders may be completed closer to the 4-week mark, while larger collections or more detailed custom projects may take closer to 2 months.

Your estimated timeline will be discussed during your consultation and confirmed before your order begins.

Every custom order is different, so pricing is based on the scope of your project.

  • Shipping or delivery
